i would recommend either of the two following programs, based on how much dolphin time you would like. both of them conduct a shallow water portion where youll be able to touch, feed, and give hand signals to the dolphins; and a deep water portion where you will be able to use masks to look at them underwater as they swim under and around you, spinning, and blowing bubbles. they also have professional photographers and videographers; everyone gets a chance to kiss a dolphin and a group picture take of whoever came together to dolphin quest. if you would like to purchase a dvd of your encounter with the dolphins, i would suggest checking in early, as it is on a first come first serve basis.
option one: the encounter $205 per person
30 minute program; 20 minutes with the dolphins
option two: encounter deluxe $250 per person
45 minute program; 30 minutes with the dolphins
please note!: they do not offer dolphin “rides” because all the behaviors are voluntary. if you were to hold on to the animal, it is hard to distinguish between the dolphin wanting to pull you or to get away from you. they would rather focus on group activities that everyone can enjoy together. the trainers are fun and helpful and you are bound to have a great time learning about those amazing animals!!
unfortunately they usually do not offer any discounts except for kamaaina 15%(locals only) or military 20%
