Is Your Local Mervyn’s On Sale Now? If So, What Kind Of Items? How Much Are The Discounts? ;)?

Yes. Everything is on sale from 30%-50% off. I haven’t seen any of these 50 percenters, but most of the clothing items are 30% off. It just seems odd that the price for a pair of Hillard Hansen boots are $80 bucks and I got them for $45 which is odd since I buy boots from Mervyn’s Hillard Hansen section all the time and have NEVER pad $80 for a pair. It seems to me that they jacked up the prices and are putting those on sale. I heard from one teller that the store closes in December and from another teller that the store closes in January. Another thing is if you bought anything before Oct. 31st you are allowed to return it WITH a receipt ONLY and you have until Nov. 14th to return said items. If you buy anything after Oct. 31st and something goes wrong with it then you are SOL. It just seems odd that the prices seem raised, you can’t return anything if you bough it after Ot. 31st. It makes me wonder if they are really going out of business?!?

i work at mervyns. Liquidation started on the 1st, they did the second round of markdowns and now the entire store is 30% off. jewlery is 50%. The stores are still fully stocked and will continue to get some merchandise in. All sales are final, no returns or exchanges.
