I Heard Today Airlines Are Offering Great Discounts?
My Dad is very sick in Fla. and the closest airport to me is Las Vegas.I want to fly from Vegas to Tampa airport. I don’t understand all the info. on the net either. I just know I must get there. No airline was mentioned on the news, just lower flights being offered. A bit old fashioned I guess-I want a boarding pass,a straight price & will travel at anytime. Thanks, Janell

Yes, airlines are offering discount due to bad times, but since your dad is sick, you can call any airline serving Las Vegas airport as well as Tampa airport and explain to them your circumstances, for they offer extra discounts for individuals with sick/ill family members. But, that is for immediate travel.
Since you said anytime, a ticket, round-trip from LAS to TPA for one adult is $218.40 with Continental and Northwest Airlines. There is one stop on this flight- Houston. On the way back, Northwest Airlines will handle the flight, and there is a stop in Memphis.
