You are likely to get a lot of negative responses, saying these attunements are quackery. I think if the person offering the attunements is totally sincere (and not just out for the money), then online attunements might work.
However, if someone in your area has fully trained in reiki, a live attunement would be much more powerful. You are getting direct person to person contact, a feeling for the reiki master, and are free to ask any questions you want.
I would really try to get a personal attunement rather than one online, unless you live in an area where there is no reiki master to give you an attunement.
Not a great deal to be honest.Ok,you believe in Reiki,but think about it, how do you even know that theyre doing anything and not just watching TV?

Well, that’s a tough question. Long distance reiki attunements can be effective, but if you order it online you really have no idea what you’re getting. So if it’s sincere, then yes, it can be done. But perhaps not. And how would you even know?
Here’s the major point: Trust your intuition. Intuition is a huge part of reiki. Reiki isn’t just getting attuned and then throwing energy at people with your hands. It’s about being a real master of healing, from sensing and diagnosing, to healing and helping the energy flow, to understanding the messages you receive, to understanding energy fields, chakras, and physical/emotional/mental physical bodies, to advising people about their own participation in the healing process. Perhaps it’s the best thing for you to get attuned online. Perhaps, on the other hand, you need a teacher. Only you have the answers to these questions, and you need to trust your intuition.
One thing about paying for it. Money only has as much power as you give it. If you believe that paying for an attunement will block the attunement through your third chakra as someone else suggests, then that will happen. If you don’t allow money to hold that much power over you, then it won’t. Again, trust your intuition – perhaps a free attunement is in your highest good. But just because it’s something you can’t see doesn’t mean it’s not something worth paying for, or that the people who do it don’t deserve to be paid for putting into use all the skills they’ve spent a long time acquiring and practicing – and putting them into use for your benefit.
