Do Cell Phone Companies Give Their Employees Discounts On Cellphones And Rate Plans?

Yes they do give their employees decent discounts. My friend works at a cell phone kiosk inside a Sams Club but he sells Sprint and Cingular (or AT&T now) and a few others and he gets the biggest discount from Sprint… where he has pretty much unlimited everything for $20… but that was last year so I am unaware if their policy has changed at all or not.
and that $20 plan would probably cost him at least 50-80 bucks… especially more since Sprint is very expensive.

Yes when I worked at Verizon Wireless I was able to take advantage of a employee discount plan for discounted service and equipment this discount was also good for 4 members of my immediate family as well
