Why Is It That There Are All Kinds Of Discounts For Senior Citizens But None For Disabled Citizens?

Disabled Citizens often live on very limited income, and those who do have a disability pension often spend a great deal of money on medical expenses, prescription drugs, and care giving. So I do not understand why the disabled are not given same the consideration that Senior Citizens are given.

I agree with you totally. It’s
not very equitable.
How can we change this?
The one spot of good news is
that where I live–In a HUD
Senior Complex, disabled
prople are given priority OVER
Seniors. They also have
apts specially equipped for
disabled and wheelchairs.
Write your state legislators.
It was our Patty Berg who is
now a state Assemblywoman
that got perks for Seniors.

I do agree, but it is easier to tell if a person is a senior than if they are disabled. If you are a disabled senior would they get twice the discount?
