Some may be, but most can’t give a caller enough information to make a well informed decision about what might be REALLY important questions. For the advice to be legitimate, the attorney must collect a lot of information about you, the opposing party or parties, and at least perform a conflict of interest check. I am very suspicious of offers for $39.95 per call (usually limited to ten minutes) where the lawyer doesn’t know whether he or she has already given advice to the person / company / whatever that’s on the other side of your case.
There are lots of attorneys who will offer you a free consultation, and give you real, meaningful, face-to-face advice. I think you’re better off to choose one of them instead.http://www.bankruptcy-sandiego.com

Hi,
No website will give you standing legal advise that you can use in a real life situation with any kind of legal guaranty,
The one website that might be good to look at is
http://www.expertlaw.com/forums/
But again, no one can give legal advise online, including me, without knowing all the facts of the case, and for this lawyers or legal advisers will need a consult.
There are however websites or forums, such as ours on http://www.lawstudentforum.co.uk or http://www.externalaw.com where you can get some tips.
The best thing to do is consult a lawyer, they should have a free initial phone interview, just check the yellow pages
