Uk> Do Students Get Discounts On Rail Season Tickets?
I’m going back to uni this year. The uni is 1h by train away from home. Th eproblem is im 29 year old. Do you know of any special deals?

No. Only if you can get hold of a young person’s railcard, which is now called a 16-25 railcard.
If you’re 29, you won’t be able to get one. Natwest will give you the alternative incentive.
Students get very few discounts. Having a NUS card entitles you to very little too, and you have to pay for it. All in all, it sucks.
if you are a student, and get a student account from the Natwest – they offer you a free Young persons rail card for 5 years.
However that is only valid for people between the ages of 18-25

Are you in full time education? In London students gets 1/3 of Trasport for London travel (trains and tubes, season tickets) – age will not factor into it only your status as a full time student.

Err Natwest were supposed to be doing a rail discount card when you took an account with them… I don’t think theres any other discounts.
yup i did wen i was at collage u have to get a form from ur collage 2 prove u are actualli at collage go 2 the station show them it they give u a season ticket with a discount but u have to have ur photo put on it like a passport photo which u can get done in those photo machine things lol hope this helped xx
